A WEBSITE DEDICATED ONLY TO GRADE 1 HORSES
Why spend tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, even millions of dollars to obtain what you hope will be top quality thoroughbred race horses without first examining the best information?
Why go down a breeding path well-trodden without giving yourself options for discovering other trails to future G-1 winners on dirt and turf, male and female, and over all distances, worldwide and specific to various geographic regions?
Even with the most popular and prolific sires, the chances of producing a G-1 winner or horse leading to same can be one in 50 or worse. However, the odds can be significantly improved by looking first at the actual winning sire-damsire combinations for G-1 races over the past four years and getting ahead of emerging trends.

New and amended Sire Circles are uploaded weekly as racing results occur. Detailed Analysis tables show successful G-1 breeding sires, damsires, and sire-damsire combinations for all distances by individual year and for the period from 2021 to present, worldwide and by geographic region. In early 2026, we are uploading tables specific to types of races (for example 9 furlongs on dirt for three year old females), listed by individual race that provide in depth pedigree information down to fourth damsires.
WHO SHOULD BE INTERESTED IN G-1 THOROUGHBRED PEDIGREES?
We present only facts, not opinions, with which you make decisions for breeding, purchasing, and racing thoroughbred horses. Serious-minded breeders, owners, and trainers determined to obtain a competitive advantage from pedigree information will find this site valuable. Pedigree results by individual race can be used for wagering advantage. All parts of our web site come with hyperlinked indexes to find rapidly what you need. Five Generation Sire Circles can be located, for example, through a Master Index of G-1 winners and as well by race winner results for each of the years from 2021 to present.
HOW WE MADE OUR CONTENT
Horse by horse, race by race, we charted the actual pedigrees of Group One/Grade One winners from around the Northern Hemisphere (Europe, North America, the Near East, and the Far East) for the entire Group One/Grade One period, beginning in 1971 in Europe, 1973 in the United States, and so forth. For the Southern Hemisphere, we concentrated on top thoroughbred winners of the 21st Century from Australia/New Zealand and as well the most recent winners from Argentina, South Africa, etc. Any Southern Hemisphere thoroughbred that won a Northern Hemisphere G-1 race in the last five decades is by virtue of that victory included. Total number of contests currently covered worldwide approaches 400.
This methodology includes G-1 races that were later downgraded to lesser ranking or even discontinued. There are over 130 such races that have been downgraded or discontinued.
In our Compendium, pages from which are available for special request purchase in PDF format, we use a cross-referencing system based on sires so that the other half of a breeding pair that appears on a pedigree chart can be located through a Master Index. In this manner, the pedigree descent of a horse can be tracked back through multiple generations. Everyone knows the quality of major sires of recent and present time—the Curlins, Galileos, Into Mischiefs, and War Fronts. However, much like a newly discovered vein of gold in an obscure mine, other sire lines of lesser renown have yielded and are yielding high-quality thoroughbreds now achieving G-1 status.
This is why our Five Generation Sire Circles are so valuable. Although five generation pedigrees are not new, our method of presenting them is particularly useful at exposing superior breeding sires, damsires, second damsires, third damsires, etc. Results from Sire Circle collection are extracted, aggregated, and filtered to yield Detailed Analysis tables. The goal is to show at a glance where all the best pedigrees have come from around the world, including by individual races.
ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
This project took years to accomplish and is ongoing for subsequent winners in G-1 races around the world. Although in assembling and organizing so much information human error is possible, our system of double-checking, triple-checking, and cross referencing with a “double entry” method of showing pedigrees from both sire and mare descents greatly reduces mistakes. We have gone through all pedigree charts, Sire Circles, and Detailed Analysis tables page by page, often horse by horse to correct errors and ensure accuracy. Our goal is to provide visitors to our web site with the best and most timely information possible.
